Philip has served as a Scottsbluff police officer for many years, as did his father before him. Our deepest condolences to the family and our prayers for the Eckerberg family. Many warm reflections about her service at the school.
Lori Johnson said, "Margaret was amazing. It's going to be a little bit hard calling the kid in for school. Margaret always answered the phone and every time we laughed. She was a light."
Shannon Bruner wrote, "She always had the most beautiful smile and was a pleasure to talk to."
And Brenda Manley wrote, "The Prime Cut family is so sorry for your loss. We always enjoyed you on Tuesdays."
And Mrs. J wrote from the school, "Always so kind and respectful to me as a new sub. You will be missed. Prayers to the family and all who loved her."

A minor two vehicle accident happened yesterday afternoon, Highway 26 and Avenue B in Scottsbluff. Scanner admins were on scene and reported that one truck had its drive shaft off. Unknown damage to the other vehicle. No injuries were reported.
